Daphne Danns, Managing Director
Daphne Danns is the Managing Director of IKOR North Dallas. Daphne was born and raised in New York City. At the age of 20 she worked in the Bronx as a Medical Assistant in the Urology Department. That is where Daphne fell in love providing service to those who need help. Daphne have worked in the medical field for 18 years as a medical assistant and coordinator. During her 18 years in the field she noticed there was a lack of care and compassion for the elderly and disabled. She have specialized in Urology, Cancer Centers, Bariatrics and working with the military hospitals helping injured soldiers during the war. In 2006 Daphne and her husband decided to move to Dallas and start somewhere new with a great environment to raise their two boys. With strong ties to home in New York City, she was informed of her mother’s deteriorating medical condition, that sparked her need to help her mother to receive the medical treatment that she so desperately needs. Daphne found that there was a lack of coordination between the family care provider and all the specialist that her mother was seeing.
Two decades in the Medical Field Daphne had turned her interest into Care Management she became determined to assist in helping the elderly and the disabled. She researched many different care management services which was great but was always lacking something she was looking for. Finally, she met with an advisor who presented her with IKOR and all the components fit perfectly. IKOR had the Medical, Financial, environmental and psychosocial needs that she has been looking for. After many years of helping individuals Daphne and her husband opened IKOR of North Dallas. They are now the voice for the elderly and disabled in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
