Matt Field, Managing Director

Matt Field is the Managing Director of IKOR of Chicago's North Shore. Matt was born and raised in the community he now serves. A native to the area, Matt left suburban Chicago nearly 20 years ago, ultimately pursuing a career as a congregational rabbi in New York. In this capacity, Matt was intimately involved in the lives of families and individuals as they navigated through life's transitions. After a decade of professional fulfillment in which he confronted the rapidly aging demographics of our population and the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in the community on a daily basis and witnessed the rising need for advocacy, Matt was set on making a career change that would focus not only on the spiritual, but on the physical, emotional and financial demands of individuals and families during life's moments of vulnerability. Matt entered the home care business in 2012, successfully addressing the needs of those who wanted to stay in their homes and retain their independence in spite of their declining health. After nearly 4 years of helping individuals and families navigate these challenges, Matt opened IKOR of Chicago's North Shore so he can address the needs of those in his community without a voice on a broader and deeper level, helping them achieve the best possible quality of life.

Matt has more than 15 years working with seniors and disabled, addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Additionally, Matt has over 15 years working with families in times of transition and crisis, helping to manage family dynamics and guide families through difficult decisions.

Matt's pastoral training enables him to help individuals and families to address times of transition and crisis from an emotional and spiritual perspective.

Registered Nurse Advocates

Our Registered Nurse Advocates are highly experienced professionals with supervisory or management experience in the nursing field. RN Advocates have received specialized training from IKOR and have a special understanding of medical advocacy. They help our clients, and their families, navigate the complex, and often fragmented care systems. We understand tending to the needs of seniors and the disabled can be a daunting challenge. Our RN Advocates work with our clients to determine their medical needs and coordinate the delivery of care services to ensure our client’s needs are being met and personal preferences are being fulfilled.

Personal Needs Coordinators

Our Personal Needs Coordinators (PNCs) are experienced financial professionals who provide guidance, planning, oversight and the implementation of plans designed to focus on our client’s important life challenges. Personal Needs Coordinators can act as an independent, objective party to help make financial decisions that are in the best interest of our client. From helping the client find an appraiser for antiques or jewelry to helping them liquidate assets or getting quotes and bids for home modifications and repairs, our PNCs are ready to help our clients make informed decisions.
