IKOR, which was acquired in 2014, is a franchised company that provides care management, healthcare and financial advocacy, and personal and estate guardianship services to seniors, the injured, and the disabled. IKOR is headquartered in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, and is led by Patricia Maisano, Founder & Chief Innovation Officer, and Steve Sanders, Chief Operating Officer.
Allen Hager, Executive Chairman
Allen Hager is the Executive Chairman of the Board of RiseMark where his position is to focus on external matters important to the brands, including building partnerships and broader business relationships, government outreach, and thought leadership in the home care, senior care and disabled care industries.
Allen founded Right at Home, Inc. in 1995 after spending nearly a decade in hospital administration in both West Virginia and Nebraska. While working in hospitals, he watched many patients – especially seniors – leave the facility and return home, but not necessarily return to health. Once home, he found that some former patients weren’t ready yet to care for themselves. Allen knew that with a little help, most of these people could lead healthy, happy lives in their own homes. He also knew that there were very few organizations that offered this kind of help. However, Allen didn’t just jump in and start to provide home care services. First, he talked to dozens of families to understand the different kinds of challenges they faced and what kind of care would help. Through rapid growth and franchising, the organization has grown to more than 400 locations in 45 states.
Allen is a graduate of Marshall University, Tulane University’s M.B.A. program and the Executive Development Program of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. A veteran of the home care industry, Allen was also a founding member of the National Private Duty Association (now known as the Home Care Association of America) and has previously served as its Legislative Chair.
