Making Grayslake, IL Better: Recognizing Pam Weiss for Excellence in Community Service

Pam Weiss | IKOR in Grayslake, ILAt IKOR, we are passionate about helping individuals in our community. We support our neighbors and take care of our friends. Today, we would like to extend special recognition to Pam Weiss for bringing to life the Grayslake Exchange Club’s Food Truck Frenzy and winning the 2018 National Outstanding Fundraiser Award for Exchange Clubs with 30-74 members.

Pam is an active volunteer and Board Member of the Grayslake Exchange Club, a community service organization which supports many charitable organizations.  In early 2017, Pam came up with the idea of a Food Truck Frenzy where she organized 11 Food Trucks and entertainment at a local venue which raised over $6,000.  On April 21, 2018, Pam more than doubled everything with 28 trucks and raising over $15,000 of which 100% will go to support several charities dedicated to the prevention of child abuse.

Pam is passionate about advocating for those who are at-risk. She has dedicated many years of her professional life to developing programs to further enhance the quality of life for the individuals she serves. As the Director of Business Development for IKOR of Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs, Pam brings a cost-effective and creative approach to helping IKOR’s partners deliver a superior level of service to their clients. We are honored to have Pam as part of our team!
