Reflecting on Our Growth in 2016
2016 has been a remarkable year for IKOR. As many of us gather with family and friends this week and reflect on what we are thankful for, we want to take a moment to share our journey in 2016 with you.
Nearly 20 years ago, IKOR was founded with the mission of helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live a fulfilling life. We support our clients every step of the way: from assessing their initial needs to helping them map out their short- and long-term life goals, from coordinating services to assuring the quality of those services on an ongoing basis.
We started the year with just 30 operating units in 10 states. Over the course of 2016, we have been able to leverage tremendous opportunities for delivering utmost value to our clients. During the past 11 months, we have expanded our footprint to nine states and added 24 units, allowing us to serve more people across the United States than ever before.
All this, while remaining true to our key principles: to act in the best interest of our client only and always, and to help our clients live the most independent life possible within their physical and financial restrictions.
To build a world-class brand around such a holistic approach, you must have a great team to provide excellent service and support. None of our growth would be possible without our Managing Directors. They believe in our mission to help seniors and people with disabilities navigate these changing environments with compassion, wisdom and integrity. Their deep commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients inspires us every day. We are immensely thankful they are joining us on this journey.
